IntroductionANY-maze can be set up to automatically record videos of your tests, under the What to record while testing section of the protocol. However, if ANY-maze is already recording a video when the test starts, then ANY-maze will leave that video recording and will not start an automatic recording of the test. DetailsWhen ANY-maze automatically records a video of the test, the video it creates will (optionally) contain 5 seconds of the empty apparatus at the start of the test, and then the video from the exact point that the test starts. However, you may decide that you want to start the video recording earlier - for example, you might want to show a piece of paper with the animal details written on it before the test starts, or you may want to include the process of the animal being put into the apparatus - in which case you can manually start a recording of the test, using the If you've done this, then the automatic recording of a video of the test will not start, and the video file noted for the test will be the one that's already being recorded. When this happens, a message informing you that this has happened will be written to the Errors & Warnings panel for the apparatus. See also:
