Stage end rules wizard : Minimum number of trials

In this step, you can specify whether an animals should always have a certain minimum number of trials in the stage.

For example, you might want all animals to have at least 10 trials in a stage. If you have defined a stage end rule which specifies that the stage should end after the animal meets some criteria in 2 consecutive trials, then normally the stage would end as soon as this criteria is met, but if you also set the minimum number of trials to 10, then ANY-maze will only stop testing the animal when it has both satisfied the stage end criteria and has had at least 10 trials.

You can enter any minimum number of trials up to the total number of trials in the stage.

Note that while it doesn't make much sense to specify a number that is less than the number of trials in which the animal has to satisfy the stage end rule, it won't cause any problems if you do this.
