Getting started with ANY-maze

What is ANY-maze?

ANY-maze is a flexible video tracking system designed to automate testing of behavioural neuroscience experiments. As such, it's ideal for use in studies involving water-mazes, plusmazes, T-maze, light-dark boxes, place preference boxes, etc. In fact, it can be used with almost any type of behavioural testing apparatus and is flexible enough to adapt to new equipment or new testing protocols.

Getting up to speed

We're well aware that no one likes to read instructions (at least no one we've asked!), and with this in mind, we've tried hard to make ANY-maze as easy to use as possible. Nevertheless, we would strongly recommend that you at least watch the a short video introduction to ANY-maze, below, and/or take the interactive tour of ANY-maze and then read the Planning and setting up your ANY-maze system topic. This'll take about 40 minutes and afterwards you'll have a sufficient grounding in ANY-maze to start using the system with confidence.
