In order to use any KDS pump with ANY-maze, you must first set the baud rate for the RS232 communications. The baud rate is the speed at which data is transmitted, and both the pump and the PC must use the same rate for communication to be successful. The steps required to set the baud rate are described in each pump's manual; ANY-maze uses a baud rate of 57600 for all supported KDS pumps.

Once the baud rate is set, you just need to connect the pump to your PC and tell ANY-maze where it is connected - this is described in detail in the Using syringe pumps with ANY-maze topic. This same topic also goes on to describe how you can then use ANY-maze to control the pump.
