The ANY-maze Synchronisation interface inputs

Introduction

The ANY-maze Synchronisation interface has six ports any of which can be configured as inputs.

Connecting to the ports

The ports are available on standard BNC connectors. The signal is on the central pin and the shield is connected to ground. The entire ANY-maze Synchronisation interface is galvanically isolated from the PC.

Using the ports

The inputs are standard 5V TTL signals and are design to be used for electrophysiology synchronisation, although they can also be used as generic inputs.

ANY-maze Synchronisation interface input port specification:

 Input typeTTL
 Default active stateHigh
 Switching threshold1.0 - 1.5V
 Switching hysteresis25mV
 Read frequency1KHz
 Read latency1.5ms +/-1ms
