Setting up the ANY-maze Audio interface

You MUST install the 'ANY-maze USB devices' driver software before you plug the ANY-maze Audio interface into your computer.

All ANY-maze interface devices are set up in the same way, therefore most of the links below take you to generic instructions:

1.Install the 'ANY-maze USB devices' driver software
2.Connect the ANY-maze Audio interface to your computer
3.Connect the ANY-maze Audio interface to DC power
4.If you have more than one ANY-maze Audio interface, you should identify which one is which
5.If you wish, you can rename the device to give it a more meaningful name

Connecting the ANY-maze Audio interface to DC power

The ANY-maze Audio interface must be connected to DC power in order to play sounds. When not connected to DC power the device will be detected by ANY-maze, but if you try to play a sound, no sound will come out of the speakers and a warning message will be displayed telling you what the problem is. Note also that the LED on the front of the device will be red when the device is not connected to DC power and will only turn green (indicating that the device is ready to play) when ANY-maze is running and DC power is connected.

The ANY-maze Audio interface is supplied with a DC power supply, but you can use any DC power supply that conforms to the following specification:

Output power20W (or more)
Output Voltage12V - 36V (24V recommended)
Connector2.1mm DC power jack (centre positive or centre negative, it doesn't matter)

What next?

After setting up your device, you will need to connect it to your speakers and test it.
