Using the ANY-maze Parallel Rod interface

Introduction

When setting up a protocol for the Parallel Rod apparatus, you should include an 'on/off input' to detect foot slips.

Details

In order for ANY-maze to register foot slips in the Parallel Rod apparatus, you will need to include an on/off input in your protocol. You can call this input anything you like, but 'Foot slip' would seem like a sensible choice. You should then set the Ports to use for the input to be the cage inputs on your Parallel Rod interface - see figure 1.

With the protocol set up in this way, ANY-maze will report things such as, the number of foot slips, latency to the first slip, etc.
