Legacy I/O devices

Supported legacy devices

ANY-maze still supports the devices listed here, although support will be discontinued in a future software release. We don't recommend these devices for use in new ANY-maze systems; In general the ANY-maze interface device family provides comparable or better functionality.

 The original ANY-maze interface (AMi)
 The AMi2 Remote control
 The ANY-maze Parallel Rod interface
 The Parallel Rod floor test
Devices that connect to the computer's serial port

Devices no longer supported

ANY-maze no longer supports the devices listed here. You can still use these devices in ANY-maze version 6, but support for that version has now ended.

Instead of these devices, we recommend the ANY-maze interface device family which provides comparable or better functionality.

The Switch and Sense 8/8This device does not have a 64-bit driver. We recommend the ANY-maze Digital interface or ANY-maze Relay interface instead.
I/O ports on Axis network camerasAxis network cameras are no longer supported.
The computer's parallel (printer) portVery few computers include a parallel port nowadays. We recommend using the ANY-maze Digital interface instead.
The Ugo Basile Sound GeneratorThis device is no longer manufactured. We recommend using the ANY-maze Audio interface instead.
