Heat maps

ANY-maze automatically includes heat maps for the position of the animal's centre point and, if relevant, the animal's head in all new protocols. You can edit or even delete these heat maps if you wish, and of course you can add new heat maps too.

  

Heat maps show a graphical representation of how long the animal spent in different parts of the apparatus. A classic example of a heat map displays the data for the animal's centre point, but ANY-maze can plot heat maps for lots of different things, for example where the animal reared, or where it was immobile.
