Using the test schedule report

As its name implies, the Test schedule report shows the testing schedule for your experiment. Essentially, this is a list of all the tests in the order in which they'll be performed.

The Test schedule report is shown on the left-hand side of the Experiment page and you can always get back to it by clicking the Test schedule button shown in the ribbon bar.

The information shown

The information shown in this report is actually defined as part of the protocol, but defaults to include a number of typically useful columns such as the Animal number, Stage, Trial number, etc. To alter the columns, simply right click over the report and choose the Select columns option from the menu which appears.

Like all reports in ANY-maze, the Test Schedule is dynamic - in other words, it automatically updates as the information it shows changes. Indeed, you'll notice that the current test changes colour as its status alters. For example, when 'Ready' the test is shown in green, whereas while 'Testing' it's shown in red - this makes it easy for you to see what's happening in the experiment (again, this is extremely useful if you're testing in multiple apparatus at the same time).

Links

If included in the report, then the Test number and the Animal number will be links to their respective Test details report and Animal details report. You can use these reports to view or edit information about the test or animal - this is particularly useful when resolving common problems.

Now you understand what the Test Schedule report is for, you're ready to actually run some tests.
