The Virtual Switches panel

Introduction
The Virtual Switches panel shows information about all the virtual switches in your experiment. Virtual switches allow you to create your own on/off-type events based on other information ANY-maze already knows - for example, a virtual switch could be used to determine when the animal is 'moving fast': when it's moving faster than a certain speed, the 'switch' will be on; otherwise, the 'switch' will be off.
Figure 1. The Virtual Switches panel showing two virtual switches - the animal is moving faster than the speed specified for the 'Moving fast' virtual switch, so this switch is currently active.

Show Help - Displays help on this panel.
Promote panel - Promotes this panel to be the main panel of the Test window.
Collapse tabs - Collapses the tabbed section, to give more space to the promoted panel. The tabbed section can be reinstated by clicking on any tab.
