IntroductionThe Session log panel contains information about things that happen during a test. Test control events (such as a test starting and ending) are always shown on this panel, but other information can also be included.

DetailsThis panel simply lists events as they occur during the test - for example, zone entries, I/O activations, completion of sequences etc. By default, only test control events are shown, but you can use the

Note that the settings you choose here can also be changed in the protocol, under What to show on the Session log panel.
The following buttons are specific to this panel. If the panel is the promoted (main) panel, these will appear alongside the test control buttons in the tool bar at the top of the window; otherwise they will appear as the title of the tabbed section when the Session log panel is the currently-selected tab (as in figure 1, above):
When this panel is the selected tab, the right-hand side of the tabbed section's title will contain controls relevant to the tabbed display:
